As a follow up to the event we plan on using the blog as a platform for relevant posts from a variety of contributors to continue some of our conversations around human remains and mobility. As it seems pertinent, Kristin Hussey (one of the organisers) has recently written for the Journal of Victorian Culture online about Victorian eye specimens in London’s medical museums:

After a very difficult selection process we have released the preliminary programme for Corpses, Cadavers and Catalogues, available for download here:
We were blown away by the quality and variety of papers proposed for the two days, and hope that the programme we have put together represents the breadth of interesting topics! Registration is now open to speakers and will be opened to the general public in the next week or so!

Submission for Corpses, Cadavers and Catalogues is now closed. Thank you to all of our wonderful potential speakers- we have been blown away by the creativity and diversity of the responses we have received from across a wide variety of disciplines. It is shaping up to be a fantastic conference!
We are aiming to get back to all of our candidates in the next few weeks and hope to open registration on the 1st of March.
